While Metalplate is as large in galvanizing as any company in the U.S., each plant is a compact, independent operating unit. The Production Supervisor plays a vital role in the plant’s management team. We offer a competitive package of benefits as well as a very attractive cash bonus program that is dependent on personal performance and plant financial results. All owners of Metalplate are career Metalplate managers. Metalplate’s growth, along with recent retirements and promotions, has created the need for four additional Production Supervisors. | In the late 1980s, Metalplate recognized Houston, Texas as the largest single market for galvanizing in the U.S. and, as a result, began operating its fifth plant, Houston West, there in 1991. The Houston West facility focuses primarily on large structural work and grating. However, outside these areas, Metalplate recently recognized that there was an increasing demand for galvanizing small parts and light structural material. As a result, Metalplate built a second plant, Houston East, in order to serve this market as well. The two Houston facilities now complement each other and operate as a "one stop" shop to accomodate all of our customer's needs. It is this growth that has created the need for additional maintenance personnel at our Houston facilities. |
